The Private Sector Investment Programme (PSI) is a programme of the Dutch government that supports innovative investment projects in emerging markets. The first tender 2010 is now open also to Indonesia. The deadline for submitting project proposals is 8 February, 2010 at 17.00 CET

A PSI project is an investment project, implemented by a Dutch company together with a local company in such a (pilot) scale that it will result in follow-up investments (by means of private funds or commercial bank loans). If this investment meets the criteria, it can be eligible for a grant by PSI. This grant consists of a financial contribution to the costs of the investment. The PSI programme is open to projects in all economic sectors. The PSI contribution in the investment is 50 percent with a maximum of EUR 750.000, hence the maximum project budget may be EUR 1.5 million.
