At the request of the Indonesian and Dutch government and private sector, the Dutch government agency for sustainable energy SenterNovem in close cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR-DGEEU), the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and INA will organize a one day meeting on waste to energy to bring users, Dutch technology providers, financiers and Indonesian central, provincial and municipal government authorities together. The purpose of the meeting is:

• to exchange knowledge and experiences between Indonesian and Dutch related parties on biomass projects
• to discuss what steps have been taken, what barriers are faced and what steps to be taken in the future.
• to make steps forward to solve barriers and to create local support, to pave the road for a joint Indonesian-Dutch business opportunities.
• to initiate projects in electricity generation from waste in Indonesia, done by bringing all related parties together during 1 day meeting which will consist of discussion on general issues.
